Fragments of Silence

29/11/2025

.. some images return without warning — not because of their aesthetic, but because of their vibration.
This moment inside the nunnery, in a small cold space where the light seemed older than time, is one of them.
The photograph wasn’t taken by me, but by a friend — a former monk who knows this world from within.
Perhaps that’s why the image carries such quiet honesty.
Nothing was staged, nothing forced.
Just presence, gesture, breath… the soft choreography of everyday life.
When I think about everything I lived in Nepal, I return to moments like this.
How certain experiences become seeds.
They don’t need to shout or explain themselves — they only need to exist, to touch, to stay.
This is one of the fragments that walks with me as the new project begins to shape itself — slowly, delicately, in its own rhythm.
Not a release. Not an announcement.
Just a whisper from the process.
A reminder that some stories mature slowly, and perhaps that is their natural way of becoming…
